Happy Birthday Flower Card Box

Another card box. I am amazed at how easy it is to make those and the reaction I always get when giving it.

The sentiment is Happy Birthday in Hebrew and I cut the letters from gold vinyl with the Silhouette.

This card is participating in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Photo Booth Props

My son turned 11 last week and yesterday we had a birthday party for him. He wanted soccer and bar-b-que - easy peasy! which left enough time to create some photo booth props for the kids.

It turned really fun and it was so easy to make.

I cut the props from cardstock but next time I will use chipboard and will adhere cardstock to it to make it a bit more sturday.

The kids loved it very much and had lots of fun playing with it today also.

The images I used are either images I traces or made myself. Here is the file in Silhouette Studio 3 format

After posting this I went to upload my photos to flickr and found this photo from Krafting Kelly, her explanation on her blog is so great, I encourage you to go read it if you want to prepare some.

Twins gift basket

A friend of mine had adorable twin baby girls. Part of the gift was a "Mommy basket". It's a basket the includes some of the stuff a mommy needs next to her when she is feeding her girls (which, with twins, seems to be the majority of the day...).

The basket included: tissue paper, wipes, hand sanitizer, health mix, hand cream and nail polish (that one is a joke, as I'm sure she will have no time to put nail polish for at least a year now...)

The tissue box was made with the help of my trusty silhouette. Love how easy this one is, and since I already did it a few times, it takes me about 10 minutes from start to finish, including choosing the paper part.

The health mix box was also cut with the Silhouette.

The nail polish holder is actually a lolly pop holder die from MFT.

And the card I made with this sentiment that I wanted to use for so long... The picture is awful, but the card is really fun and sparkly colors.

Happy Birthday Card Box

My first card box ever! I used the awesome card box by Lori Whitlock and it was so easy and fun to make.

The sentiment is in Hebrew and it reads: Tamara is 4.

The princesses are all stickers and chipboard figures I bought.

The flower and apple are added with a strip of vellum to make it look as it's floating on air. If you look carefully in the picture you can see it.

Here is a view of the card box when it is folded.

The sentiment here reads: Congratulations (in Hebrew).
