Happy 40
Fun card for a great friend who turned 40.
The base is made from the Hero Hues pages, I love them. They are colorful on one side and white on the other. Great for layering.
I cut the 40 out of heavy PTI white cardstock with the Silhouette and then stamped the gradation background stamp with pale pink. I lined the back of the 40 with washi tapes that matched the red/pink color scheme.
The sentiment is from the Banner Saying stamp and die that is SimonSaysStamp exclusive.
I finished it off with a bow and some rhinestones.
I am entering this card to the following challanges:
1. Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - use a SSS exclusive stamp
2. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything goes
3. Moxie Fab World - Stickers and tape challenge

Magnet Frame
This was a fun very quick project. I cut the magnet paper and the patterned paper with the Silhouette and it made a quick "happy new year" gift for the grandparents.

Congratulations card set
Today is a card set made with some fun stamp from Papertrey Ink and washi tape to match. The sentiment is from a Paper Smooches stamp set.
I choose ink colors to match the washi tape and buttons. For a matching cardstock I colored the border of a white square cardstock with the ink.
The small banner on the top right of the card (under the button) was made by adhering the washi tape on white card stock and then cutting it to form the banner in the size I needed.
I am submitting this cards to the Ready-Made Embellishment Challenge in the Moxie Fab World
and to the Sister Act Card Challenge

Congrats It's a Baby Boy
I just love the take note paper pad from Doodlebug and I only have scraps left and still I am determined to use every little bit of it :-)
Today I made a quick embossed card with some of the scraps. The stork was paper pieced.
I also decorated the inside of the card.
And here is a another view just because I couldn't decide which picture to use :-)

Fun quick cover. I made a passport cover for a friend. I used stickers so it was very quick and turned out so great. I am totally making one for myself next.

Best washi tape storage and display (and packing paper storage solution)
Today I want to show you a very cool solution I found to storing my washi tapes.
I had a few requirements from my store solution:
1. That I will be able to see all of my collection with ease. Just a quick look and I can find the one I want.
2. That it will be easy to take the one I want. I didn't want to remove 7 tapes to get to the one I want.
3. In case of need, I wanted to be able to take the entire rack with me to the table.
I found the perfect solution in the kitchen section at Ikea (believe it or not). I found that the Pot lid organizer (Israel link / UK link / US link via Amazon) is working great with washi tapes. If you don't have Ikea in your area, here is a very similar item from Aliexpress
Since I wanted to be able to take the rack with me, I didn't screw it to the wall, but used the
large plastic hook from 3M (by the way - if you are not familiar with this product - buy one! it comes in all sizes and it's one of the best things to have around the house, I use it for so many things).
I also bought the trash can at Ikea and hooked it on the side of my billy book case (again with Command hooks) and it's the perfect size for all my wrapping papers.
So what do you think??

Butterfly magnets
Quick post about a fun butterfly magnet I prepared as a gift.
I printed the Butterflies from Flutterbies Printable from Hero arts on white cardstock and then colored with copics.
I then cut it. Half I cut with scissors and half with the Silhouette - The Silhouette was much easier :-)
I then covered it with glossy accent and waited until it was fully dry.
To finish I added magnets at the other side and voila! it's ready to be given as a gift.
I decorated a few boxes I had on hand to put the magnets in.
