Just Saying Hello

I have a beautiful paper pack from My Mind's Eye (Blush) and I wanted to use it as much as I can on a few cards.

I made my own flash bling, by using the tiny circle scraps from the border punch along with Glossy Accents, and that way I got pearls that are matching the pattern of my design. I did the same in both butterflies. I really like how it turned out.

I also decorated the inside of the card and left a small space to write in.

I am going to use this card in the "Just add pearls" challenge from Simon Says Stamp.

Silver/Blue Thank you

This was such a quick card to make and I really like how it turned out.

I created the front panel from white card stock. I masked the bottom part of the panel with post-its and stamped the  spiral background with versa mark and embossed with Silver embossing powder and then colored the background with two distress inks.

The sentiment is from a Hero arts stamp set in black memento ink.

All of this on top of a Kraft card and that's it.

I am submitting this card to the Less is More - Week 88 Silver Color challenge

I really liked how it turned out so I immediately made another one with different colors. I'll post it tomorrow.

Amazing Friend

This card will be given to a very dear friend of mine who is celebrating a birthday.

I started with this sketch from the Hero Arts blog:
The minutes I saw this sketch I immediately thought: Washi tapes!!

So here is the card I came up with:

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Find Joy stamp set to the inside of the card.

I embossed the white card base with the cuttlebug spots and dots embossing folder. I colored the folder with ink before inserting the white card stock and I really love the result.

Baby Boy card

Hello all. To all my Israeli readers, hope you had a great Sukkot holiday. I had a wonderful time camping up north for 3 days, lots of family and way too much food :-)

Today's card is a cute baby card. I love the Sunshine PTI impression plate, it's so cute.

The base is the Hero arts layering paper, I really love them, as the inside is white so no need to have a liner inside the card, such a time saver.

This card goes into the  Lawnscaping Challenge: TEXTURE

"My Family" stick figures

Today I have a really fun project to show you.

I cut stick figures that represent my family from vinyl and put that on my car. I totally love the way it turned out.

The vinyl I had was low quality so I don't expect it will actually last long on the car, but I should get some outdoor good quality vinyl and try again.

The size of the adult stick figure is 5'' which I think is a little too big. Next try I'll make all the figures smaller.

The stick figures were purchased from svgcuts.com

Here are the images cut and ready to be put on the transfer paper

This is the final look on the car (and yes - I know the car needs washing...)

This is one of the rare projects that my kids were actually interested in (they could care less about cards...), so next time I might even let them choose their own figures :-)
