Aesthetician gift

My brother in low's girl friend is an aesthetician (beauty therapist) and I wanted to help her decorate her clinic.

I am really pleased with how it turned out and with the cut quality of my silhouette.

This signs were made and printed with the computer. The frame is from Ikea and I colored it with acrilic and then painted over with glitter mod-podge. The flowers were traced and cut with the Silhouette.

On these signs the background is a lovely fabric from make badim and the text was cut with the silhouette from fuzzy vinyl.

Happy 40

I wanted to show you two more projects before the end of 2013.

This is a card for a man so I went with two manly colors :-)

In real life this card is super gold sparkly (hear gold embossing). I seriously need to find some help on how to use my camera.

"Pimp your Cameo"

I personalized my Silhouette cameo today. Fun.

The file was a picture I found on the internet and traced and then cut with Vinyl and the side panel is an image that you get with the machine. Super easy and it turned out great.

Congratulations - Baby boy

Today a fun card I created with the Paper Smooches background stamp and sentiment set.

I created the background myself with 3 colors of ink and then cut the bodysuite with the Silhouette. I covered the bodysuite with light blue glitter and the hanger with white glitter. It turned out really sparkly and fun.

The sentiment was embossed with black embossing powder.

Here is a close up on how sparkly and fun the glitter turned out:

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

2. Simon Says - Bling it on

My kids wall decoration project

Happy Birthday Tag

Today a fun glittery card with a few of my favorite Lawn Fawn products.

The background was created with strips of double side adhesive covered with glitter.

The little banner was done the same way, I cut it from cardstock covered in double sided tape and dipped it in glitter (yes, it's as messy and as fun as it sounds).

To finish it off I added a little glitter to the hats with a Gelly Roll Sakura pen.

Here is a little close up to how shimmery and glittery this card is really is in real life.

1. 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist 2013 Challenge - My tag was inspired by the tag Kelly Alvarez created - I just loved the glitter in the background and of course who can resist lawn fawn critters set.

Cats Wall Stickers - Quick home decoration project

I am in the midst of redecorating my kids rooms and one of the things they asked for is new wall stickers.

We looked around and it is extremely expensive here in Israel, so I had an idea to do it myself with the Silhouette. As a test case, I printed a few cats stickers from simple wall paper.

It turned out so cute. I am really loving it.

What does the fox say? T-Shirts

Unless you are from another planet (or don't have kids) I am sure you know the "What does the fox say?" song that is such a hit on YouTube.

My kids love it and we listen to it at least 10 times a day if not more. So when I saw a cut file on the All Things Silhouette facebook page I knew I have to make it for my kids.

I used freezer paper and fabric color.

The first t-shirt took a long time to make, I really need to purchase some heat-transfer vinyl and try it out, because doing such a complicated file with fabric paint was very time consuming.

But at least it turned out great and my son loves it.

The second one was easier and also turned out great.

Now I need to find a cut file for "Dumb ways to die" and my kids will love me forever :-)

Quick card set

I'll admit it, I love patterned paper. Especially the 6*6 pads. But I don't use it so often. Which in turns, makes me feel guilty for wanting to buy more paper - it's a vicious cycle.

So in order to remedy this I decided I will make a card set that will mostly be from patterned paper.

It was fun and easy. All the papers are from the Amy Tangerine SKETCHBOOK 6 X 6 Paper Pad and the sentiment is from the Find joy /Hero Arts Stamp pad (I selectively inked the stamp to only stamp the celebrate.. so proud of myself for not messing it up).

I made a box to put all the cards and envelopes. The pattern for the box is the "a2 lori whitlock card & envelope box" from the Silhouette online store (Design ID #41611) and it was cut from a Granola box.

I will submit the box to the Israeli blog:

and the cards to the:
