Notebook

On Friday I went to a meeting of the Silhouette Israel facebook group. It was great and I had fun meeting all of the girls and learning who is behind some of the blogs I often read.

I prepared a little thank you gift for the two organizers of this event.

I thought about making something with the Silhouette but I ended spilling coffee on my laptop and so my Silhouette didn't work the two days prior to event.

I decided to make a hand made notes notebook using the the Penelope's Blossoms stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

I cut the different papers from a printer paper, so it will be light weight papers. I stamped every 10 of them in a different color and the top page I decorated with the individual flowers from the set.

The wording is "Notes" in Hebrew.

I then glued the top of the papers to the backing and left alone for a few hours to dry.

Here is a closer look at the top. I used the 3M quick dry white glue.

Here is the final product, it turned out really nice, I sure hope the recipients liked it.

This is how I wrapped it, with a tissue paper and a nice thank you tag.

Owl treat holder

I made 30 treat holders for my daughter's day care friends. She was the "star of week" and this was one of the things we needed to do during this fun week.

Since we did 30 it had to be something that would be easy to create.

I used the netsting frames 4 by lifestyle crafts for the head and that was what I used to close the little bag. The eyes and nose were done with punches. Easy :-)

All you need is love

Today's card was created for a card exchange in the Israeli forum: "עיצוב אלבומים וכרטיסי ברכה"

In creating this card I combined two of my latest favorites: The Silhouette machine and washi tapes.

This entire card was created with the silhouette, all the cutting and writing. I designed it in the Silhouette and then used the sketch pens to write on the card. I love how it tuned out!

I layered the inside of the card with some of my favorite washi tapes.

Quick card set

I'll admit it, I love patterned paper. Especially the 6*6 pads. But I don't use it so often. Which in turns, makes me feel guilty for wanting to buy more paper - it's a vicious cycle.

So in order to remedy this I decided I will make a card set that will mostly be from patterned paper.

It was fun and easy. All the papers are from the Amy Tangerine SKETCHBOOK 6 X 6 Paper Pad and the sentiment is from the Find joy /Hero Arts Stamp pad (I selectively inked the stamp to only stamp the celebrate.. so proud of myself for not messing it up).

I made a box to put all the cards and envelopes. The pattern for the box is the "a2 lori whitlock card & envelope box" from the Silhouette online store (Design ID #41611) and it was cut from a Granola box.

I will submit the box to the Israeli blog:
יוצאות מהקווים - אתגר אריזות מזון - אריזת גרנולה

and the cards to the:

Hello - Fall card

Today a card I made for a swap in an Israeli group I participate in.

This was my first swap and the theme was Fall.

I cut the leaves with the Silhouette from white card stock and used lots of Distress inks and stamps to make them look like fall leaves.

The background papers are from DCWV Green Stack.

I am very happy with how it turned out.

I worked on them so much, I feel they deserve a close up :-)

The inside was also decorated.

And the envelope as well.

I am adding this card to the following:

1. Sister Act Card Challenge #26

2. Simon Says Stamp - Say it with Stamps
