תמונה משפחתית משכבות של ניר

לפני כמה שבועות הייתי בסדנה מגניבה של הכנת תמונה משכבות של ניר. המדריכה היא אפרת דה בוטון המוכשרת.

כל משתתפת צריכה לבחור תמונה משפחתית וממנה עובדים על התמונה משכבות של ניר.

לא בטוחה שיהיה לי כח לעשות עוד פעם דבר כזה, אבל אני די מבסוטה ממה שיצא. הכי משעשע זה שהמבנה פנים שלה בת שלי ושלי מאוד דומה בתמונה והמבנה פנים של הבנים שלי ושל בעלי מאוד דומה... :-) 

הפרספקטיבה של הגודל שלנו יצאה לא ממש טובה וכך יצא שדניאל ממש קטן ויובל (מקדימה) נראה הכי גדול, זה מסוג הדברים שמשפרים אם עושים כמה פעמים.....

תמונה מזוית קצת שונה כדי שתוכלו לראות את השכבות של הניר.

Two pictures I made from the cardstock picture I cut out of a linen cover I bought lately and had a hard time throwing.

For the frame I used some of my loved washi tapes.

I made 3 pictures for a very cute boy.

The frames are from Ikea and everything else is cut with the Silhouette.

Love you forever frame

I used distress ink to mask the background and then stamps the different hearts with the same ink for a tone on tone effect.

Home Sweet Home #2

Another Home Sweet Home sign for a good friend.

The family silhouette is cut from a picture of the family and I really like the way it turned out.

One of my dear friends moved to a new house lately and I thought it was a good opportunity to create a Home Sweet Home canvas. I used the Silhouette to cut all the images and the pattern pages are made with washi tape.

The canvas was sent along with a card, also made with washi tape (and some embossing). It says thank you since this is one of my US friend who happily support my carft addiction by being my post women.

The Washi tape used on the sign and card was bought from Chickydoodle and I am in love with it (seriously - love it!!) I had my eyes on it for a while now and I was so excited I got it in the mail, I had to try it out.

Home sweet home canvas

בהמשך לפוסט הקודם, הנה עוד קנווס שהכנתי עם ענת. הפעם הקנווס ניתן באהבה לחברה שעברה לבית חדש.
תמיד אני מתלבטת אם לתת מתנות עבודת יד. מצד אחד זאת השקעה אדירה של זמן ואנרגיה מצידי (הרבה יותר קל ללכת לקנות משהו בחנות) ומצד שני, אולי המקבל לא אוהב את הסגנון ואולי הוא יחשוב שזאת בכלל קמצנות להכין משהו לבד ולא לקנות.
אבל במקרה הנדון, זאת חברה מספיק טובה שיכלתי להגיד לה: "לא יפה, אל תתלי, אני לא אעלב". אבל בסוף היא אהבה :-)

והנה קצת תקריבים:

מיקס מדיה

מי שמכיר אותי יודע שאני אוהבת סדר ונקיון (בעלי עכשיו נחנק מצחוק, כי הוא רואה איך שולחן העבודה שלי נראה...) - אבל בגדול, אני אוהבת עיצוב נקי, מודרני, קוים ישרים והרבה לבן. על כל גישת המיקס מדיה הסכלתי ביראת כבוד אבל בגישה של "מקסים, אבל לא בבית ספרנו".
אָמָמָה - אז פגשתי את ענת, הרי היא Mrs G, מלכת המיקס מדיה, שבהומור וביצירה מדהימה שכנעה אותי ש"כל אחד יכול".

בבוקר שישי האחרון, באמצע כל הבלגן של הפרוייקט האחרון בעבודה, זרקתי הכל, עזבתי את הבעל עם הילדים, את הבישולים והאורחים והלכתי לסדנה הכי כיפית שיש. על החוויות של ענת מהסדנה תוכלו לקרוא כאן (מי שלא מכיר את הבלוג שלה, מומלץ, מובטחת חוויה משעשעת במיוחד).

הסדנאות של ענת מיוחדת בכך, שלא צריך להביא כלום (כלום כלום). רק את עצמך וקצת דמיון. כמות החומרים שענת מחזיקה בבית מרשימה, ראיתי חנויות עם פחות ציוד, והכל לרשות המשתמשות, ביד רחבה ויש אפילו קרואסונים :-)

אני באתי עם רעיון בסיסי מהבית וענת עזרה לי לבצע. היה כיף!! והתמונה - הנה:

Butterflies Frames and a card

I created 4 frames as a gift to a dear friend.

The frames are basic simple wooden frames for a 4x6 pictures. I colored then and then matted the butterflies on a patterned paper. For a finishing look and to tie the 4 frames together I added a butterfly stamp to the frame itself. I am so pleased with how it turned out I think I'll make more for my own house.

The dress was decorated with some reinstones

and of course, the inside was decorated as well.

צרויה חוגגת שנה לעסק שלה. ולרגל החגיגות היא מעלה אתגר חדש כל יום ראשון.

בשבוע שעבר זה היה: "אהבה כתומה" עם בקשה להשתמש בקיט שלה למי שיש.

כבר הרבה זמן אני מתכננת להכין תמונה עם לבבות לאהוב ליבי, והאתגר נפל לי בול מתאים.

מזל טוב לצרויה!! כל הכבוד!!

My babies - Canvas Silhouettes

In the past few days I have been working on a Silhouette project. I got the inspiration from Pinterest and found many good tips there as well.

Here are the 3 finished canvases. I am so proud of it, it looks a lot like them to my great surprise.

Here are the steps and a few good tips I gathered along the way on how to do it.

1. Take good profile picture of the kids. Preferably with a white background.

2. I converted the image to the outlines in Photoshop (if you want an explanation on how I did this, let me know, and I'll add it).

3. Use a wall paper (טפט) to print on.

4. Make sure you print on the other side, not the shiny sticky side, I tried printing on the shiny side and the ink will not dry.

5. Cut the image out carefully.

6. Spread Mod Podge on the canvas. This is a very important step. I'll show you at the end of this tutorial what happens if you don't. Wait for the glue to dry completely.

7. Peel the wallpaper and stick it on the canvas where you want the image to show.

8. Paint the canvas, front and sides. I used acrylic color.

9. Wait until the color is fully dry and peel the wallpaper. You can see how the canvas is looking after I peeled the wallpaper and on the left side, you can see the wallpaper on a scrap paper.

10. Spread another layer of Mod Podge to protect the color, also I find the color to be a little sticky even after fully dry and the Mod Podge layer just makes the canvas nicer to touch. Once that layer is dry you are done.

Here is a picture of the 3 canvases I made hanging on the wall.

 And lastly, remember in step 6 I told you it's important to paint the canvas with Mod Podge before you start with the color.

Here is why: notice how in the left side picture (no mod podge) the color bleeds into the canvas and you don't get a clean line when you remove the wall paper. I had to learn this the hard way... But hey - at least you now have a picture to learn from :-)

תמונות לבית

באנגלית יש פתגם שאומר: "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery". אחד הדברים הראשונים שהחלטתי שאני רוצה לעשות שהתחלתי עם כל העיסוק בנייר הזה, זאת הדרכה של ענת שפורסמה אצלה בבלוג קצת מזה וקצת מזה ומזה. אם יצא וענת תקרא את הפוסט הזה אני רוצה שתדעי שאת הבלוג שלך אני קוראת הרבה זמן והרבה מהרצון שלי להתחיל עם כל העיצוב בנייר הוא בזכות היצירות המהממות שלך וגם ההסברים הפשוטים (וגם הילדים שלי מתים על עוגיות האוראו שלך...). - אז הרבה תודה!!

בקיצור, התאמתי את ההדרכה לרמת הידע שלי ולחומרים שהיו לי בבית. תמונות עם מסגרת לא מצאתי, ומכיוון שאיקאה נשרפה, ולראשון אני לא נוסעת בשביל מסגרות, החלטתי לעבוד עם קנווסים שמצאתי בפיראט האדום. (למה למה לא הבאתי את המסגרות בדולר שראיתי במייקל'ס בארה"ב???? - אה.. נכון, כבר לא היה לי גרם נוסף שיכלתי לקנות...נו, מילא, נעבוד עם מה שיש.)

הכנתי את התמונות על לוחות קנווס 20X20. הכנתי 4 לוחות. 3 בתור סדרה ועוד אחד בסוף.

השמיים והעננים עם הכדורים הפורחים הם מהדפים של צרויה. ואת הסקיצה של האייל הורדתי מכאן

התמונה השניה:


את העפיפון עשיתי לבד והדבקתי עם ניר דבק ספוגי. את החיפושיות גזרתי מתוך סרט בד שהיה לי עם החיפושיות המקסימות והמתוקות הללו. הדשא והפרחים הוספו אחרי שגיליתי שכתמי הדבק הקטנים שלא ניקיתי שהדבקתי את ההרים מתייבשים מבריק ואז רואים אותם שעומדים מהצד וזה לא יפה... אבל בסוף אני חושבת שיצא די חמוד עם הפרחים.

התמונה השלישית:


פה לחיתוך העיגולים השתמשתי בקאטלבג שלי. הציפור והעננים הם מדבקות מקיט של Home Tweet Home של MyLittleShoeBox.

התמונה הרביעית:

זה הלוח הכי שונה, השתמשתי פה בקיט שגיל הביא לי מאוסטרליה עם ינשופים מתוקים שכבר הרבה זמן רציתי להשתמש בהם. הוספתי להם עיניים זזות והם בכלל מתוקים ברמות (בעיני).
הפרפרים זה מפאנץ קטנטן עם דבק נצנצים באמצע.
בשביל הרקע פה ניסיתי משהו שונה - "צבעתי" עם דיו דיסטרס ולא עבדתי עם רקע אחיד מנייר. אני חושבת שזה נותן לקנווס הרגשה שונה לגמרי.

זהו - עכשיו להחליט איפה לתלות כל תמונה....
